We are firm believers that teaching is a "calling", filled with momentous joys as well as distinct and ever-changing challenges. Each child is a unique puzzle; a combination of strengths, interests and learning styles that must be developed during the school years. We love getting to know kids' passions, talents, and what motivates them to work hard. We believe that taking the time to learn about each and every student, connecting with them helps build the respectful collaborative environment that ultimately fosters learning. We also strive to develop partnerships with parents and embrace all opportunities to work as team members to ensure your child's optimum development.

I knew I wanted to be a teacher at a very young age. It is something that I do whole heartedly and have a lot of passion for. As your child's teacher, I hope to motivate and encourage your child to reach his/her highest potential. This is my sixteenth year teaching in Crane. I received my Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Eduction from Dickinson State University. I received my Masters degree from Northern Arizona University in Multi-Cultural Education. My ambition in life is to keep things simple and keep a passion for the important things: family, friends, faith, and school. I grew up in a small town in Illinois called Chadwick. I have three older sisters, one younger brother, and two amazing parents that I was able to visit over the summer. I also have a dog. Her name is Piper and she loves to play and snuggle. I received my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education from Western Illinois University and my Masters Degree in Multicultural Bilingual Education from Northern Arizona University.
